Welcome :)

There are a few different explanations about how a blog is born, and some (like the cabbage patch thing) are SO out there. People who hold onto those unrealistic ideals are the ones responsible for poorly maintained blogs, and I don’t care for that. I know I’m not alone here.

I don’t want to be part of the problem and have this baby grow to a verifiable mess, corralling other blogs to smoke behind the cafeteria and, like, get handsy in the back row at the movie theater.  I can’t condone that, so I’ll be honest about how this baby came into play…

Lately, I find myself borderline obsessed with food and fitness. I can’t choose between which I love more, because I crave the energy I get from exercise, which in turn drives me to get more creative in the kitchen. I’m pretty much a six-times-a-week-er when it comes to working out, and I’m always looking to discover the next best “poor man’s food” to share with the world. I decided that the only way to introduce one to the world was to introduce the other, so I instigated this whole thing.

I plan to use this blog as a forum to discuss my sweaty and spicy exploits with my two great loves. Hold onto your trepidation; I really think this threesome has great potential.
